Some popular products you will never find in my cart and better alternatives listed below.
Tide has so many toxic ingredients:
Dioxins: A byproduct of manufacturing, linked to cancer and reproductive issues.
1,4-Dioxane: Classified as a probable human carcinogen, it can cause skin and respiratory irritation.
Phthalates: Found in fragrances, linked to hormonal imbalances and reproductive issues.
Alkylphenol ethoxylates (APEs): Known to disrupt hormones and have been linked to skin irritation.
Quaternary ammonium compounds (quats): Linked to skin and respiratory irritation, hormone disruption, and environmental pollution.
Better Options:
Dawn dish soap toxic ingredients:
Sodium Lauryl Sulfate (SLS): A surfactant that can cause skin irritation.
Sodium Laureth Sulfate (SLES): Similar to SLS, it can also be irritating to the skin.
Diethanolamine (DEA): A chemical that can form potentially harmful compounds.
Phthalates: Used as plasticizers, they are linked to various health concerns.
Artificial Dyes: These can cause allergic reactions and other health issues.

All Clorox products are known to cause allergy, respiratory, skin irritations, reproductive and developmental issues.

Febreeze toxic ingredients:
Fragrance: Many fragrances in Febreze are proprietary blends that may include undisclosed chemicals, leading to potential allergic reactions and respiratory issues. Including reproductive and fertility issues.
VOCs: Some formulations may contain VOCs, which can contribute to indoor air pollution and may cause irritation, especially for sensitive individuals.
Propellants: In aerosol versions, propellants can contribute to ozone depletion and may be VOCs
Cascade Dishwasher Soap toxic ingredients:
Bleaching Agents: Ingredients like sodium percarbonate or sodium hypochlorite are used to whiten dishes and remove tough stains and they can cause respiratory issues.

There are not really better pad options in this category. I love to use my STEAM MOP and the floor spray cleaner from Truly Free.
